Ojibway Nature Centre's Chief Naturalist Paul Pratt will be our guide at a late afternoon walk on the Ojibway Prairie Provincial Nature Reserve on Saturday, June 17, 2006. We may expect to learn about the history of the Ojibway Prairie, the characteristics of a prairie, and to be introduced to the many flowering prairie plants of mid June.
We will meet at 4:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Ojibway Nature Centre located at 5200 Matchette Road.
Following the walk at 6:00 p.m. we will enjoy a picnic supper in the picnic shelter. The cost of this event is $30.00 which includes a charitable income receipt of $20.00. Please call Betty at 944-0825 to reserve your spot.
