Landowner Bill Balkwill reports that on November 3, 2005, at about 9:30 p.m. two coyotes were observed crossing his property's gravel entrance lane. More recently, a pair of Red Foxes have been regularly observed about the propery. As Bill's brother was putting out bird seed in late November, one the foxes barked at Jack. Bill reports good number of Dark-eyed Juncos foraging in the Prairie Grass restoration site. During the Cedar Creek Christmas Bird Count scheduled for December 17, 2005, it is hoped that the juncos will be part of that count.
