Mary Celestino's Pen and Ink Sketches

Consulting Ecologist Gerry Waldron suggested in 2003 that artist Mary Celestino might prepare a series of pen and ink sketches that would be illustrations for the Canada South Land Trust guiding document that is now in the process of being designed by graphic artist Scott Hughes. Mary has completed the task of drawing a collection of natural heritage sites within Essex County and the Municipality of Chatham/Kent.

In this issue of the CSLT newsletter and upcoming issues, we will feature a selection of Mary's drawings. Mary was instructed to provide twenty-five drawings, but Mary enjoyed the assignment so much that the final tally was fifty drawings.
